The Great Cookie Exchange Patch celebrates one of the most fun parts of cookie season… the tasting.

This patch was inspired by a cross-troop cookie exchange where scouts connect with another troop from a different bakery to sample cookies, share opinions, and cheer each other on. Instead of competition, the focus is on curiosity, encouragement, and shared experience.

Each troop purchases one or more boxes from the partner troop, hosts a taste test together, and then swaps reviews, notes, or even short video reactions. It’s part cookie party, part pen-pal exchange, and a whole lot of fun. All in the name of sisterhood and supporting one another.

How to Earn This Patch (Suggested Activity Ideas):

• Partner with another troop from a different bakery
• Each troop purchases one or more boxes from the other troop
• Host a group cookie tasting and comparison
• Talk about flavors, textures, packaging, and favorites
• Create written notes, drawings, or scorecards to share
• Record short video reviews or reactions (optional and leader-approved)
• Exchange feedback and encouragement with the partner troop

This exchange works beautifully as a one-time cookie season activity or as the start of an ongoing connection between troops.
